Yesterday, we received the news that one of our former SMF Team members, K@, has passed away. K@ joined the Team in 2009 as a Support Specialist, before later becoming a Doc Writer along with being on the Board of Directors. He will be best remembered for his amicable and supportive approach to providing support for many years, which was appreciated throughout the community.
Speaking on behalf of the organization, the SMF Team, the SMF Friends, and I'm sure on behalf of many community members as well; we would like to extend our sincerest condolences to his family and friends, and keep them in our thoughts during this difficult time.

How very sad. We had many chats over the years, both here and beyond.

K@ was always one of my favourites when I was on the team, and after. A thoroughly decent sort of bloke, with a great sense of humour.
It was a sad day to hear this, I am still in shock, lost someone that I considered family. My thoughts to his family, while he was no longer a member I know he thought alot about SMF.
Really sad to hear about his passing. K@ was a very kind guy and you could count on a jest, joke or witty response - sometimes randomly. Good memories for sure! He's helped tons of people around here, for which I think it's safe to say a lot of people will be eternally grateful.
A final thanks to K@ for all he has done here. I'd say rest in peace, but if there's an afterlife I doubt he'd allow there to be any dull moments. My sympathy goes out to all his family and friends, I am sorry for their loss and wish them strength in the days to come to process this tremendous loss.
Farewell man.
