Was that last weekend? I kept hearing someone calling my name. Had me going in circles.
Seriously, you should have told me what day and stopped in for short rest. The drivers on 95 are crazy anyway!

Yep, that was on the 29th I believe
It wasn't the other drivers I was worried about, it was my own driving lol

Yep and Homer is definitely my favorite character.
Haven't seem any of the Futurama episodes. I hear they are on Comedy Central now and I imagine they can be found on the net as well.

Yeah. It's entire run of four seasons (five if you go by broadcast seasons) and four movies are also available on DVD.
So I take it you highly recommend it?
What did you retire as?

What did you retire as?
I retired as a E7 (Master Sergeant) but had a line number for Senior. I had already put in my retirement request when the line numbers came out and knew if I took that stripe it would mean at least 2 more years and 1 of those would have been in Korea!

No, not really. I enjoyed my 22 years, wouldn't take anything for the experience but definitely don't want to do it all again.
I knew you were an all around great guy Jim. And thank you for serving our country!
Awww thanks Kat-2.
Jim, I made you an avatar

Sweet, another Air Force guy Have you seen the ABUs?? (YUCK) nothing beats the 2nd phase non iron olive greens, though white T's aren't great for mx work....
Xsorbit huh, I didn't know they were still around. Well it just goes to show that some good can come from anywhere.
What was your favorite plane to load up, and your favorite assignment?

Hey rickC
Yep I have and I'm glad I don't have to wear them. I sure loved the non iron olive greens as well. When we went to the BDU's, too dang much like the Army.
Xsorbit is dead now. Has been for quite some time. I think vbgamer45 owns the domain now as well.
I was stationed at Eglin AFB, FL for 8 years and the F15 is hard to beat. That was also my favorite assignment. I got to work most of the time in the Armament Laboratory making experimental gun propellant. That's not something that a munitions guy like me normally gets to do.
Did you fly the SR-71? Awesome plane!

No, I'm not a pilot.
The SR-71 is the plane that made me want to join. Well, it and the C-5(the plane I currently work on). I've seen most the the static displays of the SR-71 across the US including the SR-71 "Big Tail" at Eglin AFB.
I was stationed at Beale AFB, though long after the days of the SR-71, the base is still loaded with history on it. I've read many books on it. I really liked Ben Rich's book "Skunk Works" its a good read

Yep the static display at Eglin is in great shape, or was the last time I was there. I have a time-share in Destin so I go back to the area frequently.
Ahhh yes, the C-5. The plane that shouldn't fly but does. I flew on a number of C-141s but never had the pleasure to fly in a C-5. Now all I see around here are the C-17s out of Charleston.

Yeah, Charleston is the home of the C-17. I think they have 100+, more than any other base... I worked the C-17 airframe for 2.5 years... .Its a good plane, loved it. But the KC-135 is my baby. I hold 2 AFSC's and though I've been at a few bases, it was the plane I worked 1st in both career fields.
I haven't been th SC much, only passed through it a few times... Hows the weather in general?

I spent 2 years on Guam and we had a few KC-135s along with the B-52s.
The weather is pretty good. It gets really humid in the summer but the winters are usually pretty mild. Not unusual to only have a couple of evenings below freezing all winter and I've seen it 65-70 on Christmas day. If you like snow, then SC is not where you want to be.
I have to revise my answer to:
17. Do you play video game consoles? Yes. Got a PS3 for Christmas and Modern Warfare2. I guess it's ok if the kid comes back out sometimes.

Do you play it online?
If so whats your PSN ID?
If so whats your PSN ID?
Yes, but I am a bit slower to catch on, than all these youngsters. My kill/death ratio is like 185/800. I'll get there though. My PSN ID is jim29148.
1) Whats your favorite class/weapon/etc. in the game?
2) What's your current level in Multiplayer?
3) a) Did you beat the Campaign?
b) What did you think?
c) Have you started Special Ops yet?
You don't really have to answer these question, i'm just curious. But have fun in Multiplayer! My goal is just to have fun. People take it too seriously and lose sight of the game itself.

I'm the same way and I do have fun. For me, that's what it is all about.
I'll answer your 2nd question first - 21 and I've been playing Multiplayer about 2 weeks, so I haven't unlocked all the weapons and perks.
I use a custom class pretty much. My primary is the SCAR-H w/holographic sight, secondary is AA-12 shotgun. I'm thinking of changing my secondary to a Thumper x2 and see how that works. I just got to level 21 which unlocks the Bling perk but haven't configured that yet.
Yes, I completed the campaign twice so far and several of the other missions selectively. I really thought the storyline was interesting. I've only done the first Special Ops mission-the one where no one is shooting at you.
And so far I like the Derail map the best. I guess that is because I have had my longest kill streak there (5).

I would add you to my friends list, but I'm never on the PS3 unless I'm watching a movie.
