Well,.....I was on a bicycle that was to small for me when I was all drunked up and these big feet I have got stuck in the spokes of the front wheel and I went head over heels into the corner of a concrete curb right on my collar bone. It wasn't a good experience.

Doctor: What's this guys case?
Nurse: Broken collar bone.
Doctor: How did it happen?
Nurse: He's drunk.
Doctor: That answers all the rest of the questions.
I am sure I'm right I bet they even secretly on internal papers have a "Was intoxicated" checkbox.

Quote from: nightbre on December 27, 2008, 11:54:06 PMQuoteAge: 13 (Yeah, actually)
Wouldnt this low age (nothing to do with your exp mind) be an issue if you need to fix 'adult' sites?
As a parent of 4 children this would concern me a lot tbh.
Generally speaking, he isn't expected to do anything which he or his parents don't feel comfortable with. Now... we can't exactly *stop him* if he decides to do so, however -- after all, in making him a team member, we have put faith in his ability to make the right decision. But then, we are looking more for maturity than age when it comes to looking for prospective team members.. I know several of our team would give him a hand if necessary Have a look at our core values -- we respect and honor that personal integrity if it is something which conflicts with one's morality... its just right.
As for being exposed to it... i'd have to say that is something that really comes with the position. We couldn't guarantee that anyone absolutely wont be exposed to such things, and i can't guarantee that anyone would be either. I won't sugar coat it, i'm sure he'll have such situations -- but as I said, we trust our team members to make their own personal decisions. In addition, most of our "adult site" owners are conscientious enough to send links in private when requested, not just post them up -- and if they do, if a team member sees it, it is usually removed -- we don't allow links to adult sites without warning as to the content on the other site -- if they are allowed at all.

You need to update your position... again...
What is your favorite feature of any portal software?
Indeed, I should update it.
I'm a big fan of JS and AJAX so I kinda like DreamPortal's drag and drop interface. However the looks of that panel is in need of some care, unless they have fixed it since I last tested the beta.

Why your signature?
Why cats in your avatar?
Adidas or Nike?

Adidas or Nike?
My sig? That's basically my name, a link to my customizations and a promotional banner for SimpleDesk. *shrug*
The cat originated at simpledesk.net where some teamies started to use cat avatars, which then resulted in the name of SD 1.0 - Felidae, which is the Latin name of the cat species.
I'm not the kind of person who cares much about clothing. Both Adidas and Nike work good for me

Actually, as far as I understand it you do not have to be 13 years of age over here in Finland. It only applies to those in the US (and other countries).

Are you crazy about your SQL queries and getting their performance as top notch as possible?
Not really. I'm no query expert anyway.
