Late last night while I was asleep, Simple Machines own (old project manager) David Recordon decided to poke fun at our archaic method of sending news to the people, however we're quite in love with our press releases, and they do get some attention.

For a few new press releases that we're going to be doing soon, we're going to use the blogs, announcement boards and of course our beloved press releases (starting to think we need to get a page for these!). However we need to generate attention, and as part of the marketing team I'm to ensure we manage to reach a wider audience, cue Technorati.

A big pile of links, a super algorithm, some weird ranking, and a "pinger" forms a service called Technorati. However to add us to the service I need to post a code here to activate us. However because SMF doesn't allow HTML posting I can't add what it wants me to, so im BBCodin' it!

So not really a high powered dance, more of a little "LOOK HERE!!!omg one11!"

Technorati Profile (Yeah my sad Technorati profile)

Edit: It failed.

Too bad HTML isn't by membergroup. We could solve that easily enough :)

It wouldn't work anyway, it's a problem with the way the blogs display, Thantos is going to fix it :)
