Get to know the team: Nas

Link to old topic with an interview-styled layout - For a quicker reading about me
So, I thought it was about time to update my "Get to know the team" topic. However, I decided to post an all new one instead of updating my existing topic.
Also, being tired of the common layout used in these topics, I am writing this more like an actual blog post than an interview.
So, if you feel like doing a bit of reading, scroll down.
My name here at SMF is Nas, as you all probably figured out by now. My real name is Marcus Forsberg.
I was born in Sweden, but 2,5 years ago I moved to Åland Ilands, a group of ilands located between Finland and Sweden, in Northern Europe.
Now, this isn't three little ilands with one palm-tree each in the middle, but a group of no less than 3600 ilands, big and small.
I live on the biggest Iland, the main Åland.
Though being a part of Finland, we speak swedish here.
And no, we have no polar bears up here in the north
A common question I get is if I'm really 13 years old.
My new answer to that is no - I am not. I turn 14 in 9 days.
Though, that still makes me the youngest team member around right now, and I do make some of the big guys feel old (Well, they are, really).
I first found SMF back in February 2008, while I was still playing a game called TheSims2.
After my favorite forum on that subject was closed down, some of the members there (Who knew that I had learned HTML and CSS) asked me to make a new version of that site.
Though, it does of course takem ore than HTML to code a forum, which I knew.
So, I began searching, but found nothing more than phpBB redistributors, which I kinda didn't like (
).
But then, finally, my search paid of. I found SMF.
After, with my lack of knowledge, having figured out how to install it, I fell in love.
In the early days, I spammed the support boards with all those common newbie questions (I'm sure the Support Team wanted to do all kinds of stuff to get rid of me at times).
However, months passed and as I got used to SMF and installing mods, I eventually wanted to explore the heart of it.
So, I slowly started to turn code upside down in template files, causing all kinds of parse errors (And more support requests
), and after a while in source files.
This way, I learned basic PHP without the use of guides, and even released my first mod in April 08.
That mod also made the customizers fear me.
So, being hunted by both green and purple guys, I learnt more PHP from tutorials around the net, and started to use my CSS and HTML "skills" to create my first pair of themes in May.
Slowly learing the art of customization, I started to help people out in the support boards.
It paid of, eventually, when the team awarded me with SHOTM (Support Helper Of The Month), along with MrPhil and F.L.A.M.E.R in October.
During August - October, I released my first good (working) modifications (Such as CGDT) and learned SMF better than ever.
In early November, a surprise was waiting for me in my PM inbox. I was invited by metallica48423 to join the Support team as an apprentice.
I did, of course, and December 4 I became an official SMF team member.
As 2009 came along, I finally realized my heart was in Custimization, and in April I transfared to the Customization team as a themer.
I then recently "moved" to the Mod section.
Enough of my SMF history, who am I?
As I said, I live in Åland Ilands.
Ever since I moved here, I've been living in a small summer house with my mum and dad, while my 20 year old sister lived in the town 2 miles away.
Since September 2008, we've been building a new house side by side with the old one.
This week, it was finished and today I moved my PC into my new room.
When not on SMF, I love taking photos. However, I only have a cheap camera.
I also shoot with my air rifle from time to time.
I like playing PC games, mainly the Spore series (As I said, my heart is in Customization, which that game is all about).
I dream about having a dog, but my parents just say "No". We once had one, but she died of old age a few years before we moved. I'm also allergic.
So what is happening now?
I'm currently working on mods such as my File Manager (A web based FTP-thingy built into SMF for admins), my Facebook mod (Adding a facebook style chat and buddy list), a new profile look (With drag-and-drop and fully customizable looks) and more.
I'm also tearing Curve to pieces making new designs.
So, that's about all I can think of that is "useful" to know.
To anyone who had enough time and patience to read everything - Great job

* Nas runs of to do something useful - Such as slacking.

Perhaps I should add something similar to mine.
