Name: Pete
Age: 48
Location: Australia
Quote: "Fables should be taught as fables, myths as myths, and miracles as poetic fancies. To teach superstitions as truths is a most terrible thing. The child-mind accepts and believes them, and only through great pain and perhaps tragedy can he be in after-years relieved of them. In fact, men will fight for a superstition quite as quickly as for a living truth - often more so, since a superstition is so intangible you can not get at it to refute it, but truth is a point of view, and so is changeable." - Hypatia
Position: Currently vertical (subject to change without notice).
*ETA: Was just reminded of an important omission from the "What do you hate?" category: Spammers. Yes, that's right, those gormless waste-of-oxygen-and-bandwidth excuses for human beings that should be confined to cages and used for painful medical experiments of the decidedly unethical variety. I hates them, I does.

Can you record yourself saying "Fairdinkum" and "bloody oath" for me please?
Eloquent? LMFAO
So odd reading this one.. you were lucky to miss it. My son hit a logging truck 5 weeks ago. The bike took off on its own 300 feet into the woods after he was thrown off. (somehow it managed to not hit any trees) He has a rod/pins/metal the length of his left arm. Helmet saved him - scary looking at how much it got banged up. Physical therapy, lots of pain, out of work for several more weeks. His determination to ride again is pushing him to get better.
